"Lucid is a twist on the tale of a man who has incredibly realistic dreams where he inhabits the body of another man. In his dreams he can do anything, pleasure a woman like never before, shoot someone in the chest, he can go crazy. Of course, there are consequences to these actions. The resulting short film is a really great piece of work with one of the best fights I’ve seen on film in ages. I know this review is pretty vague, but to spoil the twist would be spoiling the entire short, and this great piece deserves to be seen."

"I have seen a bunch of great films at the festival and this film, "Lucid" is one of them."Lucid" had the audience in its grip; in fact after the screening, one lady complained to the filmmaker, Sam Friedlander, "Why isn't this a longer film?" That brought a huge laugh from the audience. That is something Sam wants to happen! He wants this to be a feature and so do I! I want to tell you everything about this film, but its basic premise could be spoiled by just describing it, suffice to say, everything cool and not cheesy about the "Nightmare on Elm Street" and "Dreamscape" movies is in its potential. "Lucid" Is on the festival circuit right now, do what you can to see this! Sam is a go getter, find him, get to know him, he's the future of Hollywood!
